Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders’ ex-wife, Pilar Sanders and their daughter, Shelomi Sanders, were spotted enjoying a sunny day on the water. Pilar posted a clip of the mother-daughter duo in an Instagram Reel on Sunday.
For the day out, Pilar, with her voluminous curly dark hair, wore white bikini top, stacked silver chain necklaces and patterned shorts with her tattoo visible on her midriff.
Meanwhile, Pilar wore pink and white tie-dye bikini with large, square, dark-rimmed sunglasses. Her long, straight dark hair was tied up in a high half-ponytail with bangs.
“Twinning 🌊🌊☀️,” Pilar wrote in the caption.
The age gap between Pilar and Shelomi Sanders, is 29 years.
Shelomi Sanders celebrated her college graduation on May 8, 2026. She officially became an HBCU graduate after walking the stage at the Alabama A&M University commencement ceremony.
On May 9, Pilar dedicated an Instagram post for Shelomi. which also featured her son and Cleveland Browns quaterback Shedeur Sanders
“My baby baby Shelomi Sanders, the last of my Cherokees to get their Bachelors (Bachelorette’s) degree!!” Pilar wrote in the caption. “I’m one VERY PROUD MOTHER MOMMY MOMMA!!!”
Pilar also showed up for Shedeur on May 2, 2026, when he returned to the University of Colorado Boulder to participate in the spring commencement ceremony at Folsom Field.
Hoewver, Shedeur has not completed his degree yet, though he did participate in the graduation ceremony. Colorado allows student-athletes and regular students who have reached a specific threshold of credits to participate in the walk across the stage with their class.
Shedeur is currently finishing up his final remaining coursework to officially lock in his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Despite already playing his rookie season in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns, he has stated he intends to finish the degree and has even openly considered pursuing a Master’s afterward for the “activity of learning.”
Deion Sanders Warned Shelomi Sanders For Posing in Bikini on Instagram
On May 24, Shelomi Sanders posted photos on Instagram in a baby-pink colored bikini set with gingham shorts.
“Checkin back in 🎀,” she wrote in the caption.
Her father, Deion Sanders, jokingly replied in the comments section, “Don’t get yo Trust fund cut off!”
Shelomi fired back, “Now, we BOTH know, I don’t have one.”
Deion later added, “Because I don’t TRUST U!”
Shelomi responded, “And, I never had no FUN.”
Deion and Shelomi’s mom, Pilar Sanders met in the mid-1990s on the set of the TV series, “In The House.”
They were married on May 21, 1999. After 12 years of marriage, Deion filed for divorce in September 2011. Their divorce was finalized on June 28, 2013.
During their 14 years together, Deion and Pilar had three children: Shilo Sanders, Shedeur Sanders and Pilar Sanders.
