Simone Biles may be a world-class gymnast, but she is also a very supportive partner, as she showed up in style, cheering for husband Jonathan Owens and the Chicago Bears. While the Bears ultimately lost and are now eliminated from the playoffs, Biles’ support for Owens has remained strong.
As she went to the game, Simone Biles showed up at Soldier Field with a special Jonathan Owens-themed jacket that featured several images of the Bears star, while also featuring his No. 36 jersey number.

The seven-time Olympic gold medalist was also seen on the sidelines of Soldier Field, but it was ultimately for naught as the team bowed down in a very close game against the Los Angeles Rams, who will move on to the NFC championship game against the No. 1 Seattle Seahawks. Still, she was seen cheering her heart out for her husband, as well as his team.
With the Bears’ elimination during the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs, Simone Biles has remained the more accomplished of the athletic couple. Jonathan Owens has not tasted Super Bowl glory yet, nor college football championship glory. In contrast, Biles has 11 Olympic medals, seven of which are gold, as well as 30 World Championship medals, 23 of which are gold, but that still would not stop her from cheering him on.
Kicker Harrison Mevis was the hero of that game for the Rams, sinking a 42-yard field goal in overtime to send the team to a 20-17 victory and a ticket to the NFC Championship Game. As for Jonathan Owens and the Bears, they would have to get back to the drawing board and maybe rethink what they should do next to improve upon this already better-than-expected season.
Simone Biles Also Wore A Coat Inspired by Jonathan Owens During Wild Card Week
This Jonathan Owens-inspired coat she wore against the Rams was not a one-off, as last week, she wore a brown coat that featured her husband, his name and his jersey number in the lower parts.
She also wore a brown sweater with his No. 36 jersey number on the chest, with her celebrating the win over the Green Bay Packers on the field with him.
