    Jaxon Smith-Njigba Stats

JSN is a 23-year-old wide receiver who started his career with the Seattle Seahawks in 2023. He has been arguably the best wide receiver this season and was honored recently with the NFL Offensive Player of the Year title.

In 17 regular-season games, JSN recorded 119 receptions with 1793 yards and 10 touchdowns. He averaged 15.1 yards per reception, which puts him in the top 10 for the regular season.

In his first postseason experience, JSN has played two games, recorded 13 receptions with 172 yards, two touchdowns, and averaged 13.2 yards per reception. JSN is healthy and is expected to lace up for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

    Stefon Diggs Stats

Diggs is a veteran wide receiver in the league. He has had a decade-long experience in the league and is immensely valued for the same. In his first year with the Patriots, Diggs didn’t take long to establish himself as a highly reliable wideout.

In 17 regular-season games, he recorded 85 receptions with 1013 yards and four touchdowns. He averaged 11.9 yards per reception. This was Diggs’ sixth playoff appearance. In three games, he has 11 receptions, 73 yards, one touchdown, while averaging 6.6 yards per reception.

    Who Comes Out on Top?

Simply looking at the stats, there’s a clear winner here. JSN takes the edge over Diggs with his production and consistency throughout the season. Being recognized as the Offensive Player of the Year confirms that he is the better wide receiver than Diggs.

But that’s not the full story. While it’s undeniable that JSN comes out on top, the structure of a team and the value of a player within that structure should also be taken into account. In that context, Diggs is more valuable than his stats represent.
