Washington Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner just won the 2025 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award during Thursday night’s NFL Honors. The award is given to “players who excel on the field and demonstrate a commitment to making a positive impact beyond the game.”
His philanthropy and various business ventures have given back to the community, particularly in Seattle, where he previously played for the Seahawks.
The six-time All-Pro who won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks is known for his community service, advocating for mental health and working with various local non-profits such as the Children’s National Hospital. He also gives back to communities wherever he plays, even launching the Phenia Mae Fund to honor his mother.
The Commanders linebacker’s community outreach while still active in the NFL was the reason why he won the award, but the question is, is he married? Bobby Wagner is actually a very private person, but it is widely known that he is still a bachelor and he is not married yet.
As for if he is dating anybody, the Super Bowl winner has kept his private life private, and if he is in fact dating anybody, he has not made it public yet.
Currently, he is not just busy as an active NFL star, but he also has several businesses and charities that he is running. In other words, Bobby Wagner is a very busy man. He does have a daughter named Quincy.

With his actions to help various communities off the field being well known, Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that the star linebacker is a team leader who often sets the example for the rest of the team.
“Fourteen years into his career, Bobby continues to set the standard, both as a player and a person,” he said. “What truly sets Bobby apart is the way he leads by example and inspires the people around him. The care he puts int o his community work reflects the same dedication he brings to football, and it’s why he is such an important presence in our locker room, in our community, and in our league.”
Wagner has several business ventures on the side and he also co-owns the Seattle Storm WNBA team.
