Ryan Clark was relieved of his duties as an analyst at ESPN, and it certainly came as a shock to many, with tributes pouring in for the work Clark had done for the broadcasting behemoth. However, it appears San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa actually may have enjoyed the layoff, leading to a response from NFL legend Emmanuel Acho.
Bosa tweeted out a response to the exit of Clark with a one-emoji response, and it sparked a reply from Emmanuel Acho, who was far from pleased with the comment.
“Nick Bosa’s first tweet in 4 years in co-signing Ryan Clark’s firing. I’ve never seen this many people celebrate a man’s demise in sports media. It’s sad,” Acho wrote on X.
This was indeed Bosa’s first tweet in years, and it outlined some of the beef that the duo had despite years going by.
Why Does Nick Bosa Not Get Along With Ryan Clark?
Nick Bosa’s dislike for Ryan Clark seemingly goes back to a 2024 statement by Clark criticizing him for wearing a MAGA hat.
“It seems very clear to me Nick Bosa understands that when you wear that (MAGA)hat, you take a side,” Clark said on “The Pivot” podcast.
“You take a side of division in a sport that’s supposed to bring us together. I’m just waiting for all the people who comment under political and sports things to shut up and dribble or to shut up and play football to tell him to shut up and rush, but they ain’t going to say it ’cause they feel the exact same way he does.”
Ryan Clark’s journey with ESPN may have ended, but with his experience, a new role might very well be in waiting.
