Is Jordan Love Playing Tonight vs. Bears? What You Need to Know About Packers QB Ahead of NFL Wild Card Round

Jordan Love’s Green Bay Packers are set to play the Chicago Bears in the Wild Card Round on Saturday. The Packers are on a four-game losing streak, having lost to the Broncos, Bears, Ravens, and Vikings leading up to the playoffs. Interestingly, their last win was against the Chicago Bears in the first week of December.

Despite losing four straight games, the Packers finished 9-7-1 and secured the seventh seed. This postseason matchup will be a great opportunity for Love’s team to get back on track.

In the lead-up to the Bears game, the biggest concern for Packers fans was whether Love would be available for his team. He suffered a concussion against the Bears three weeks ago and has been out since.

Fortunately for Green Bay, the quarterback has been cleared to play in the Wild Card Round. His availability will be a major boost for the franchise as they’ve struggled without him in the lineup. Before the game, head coach Matt LaFleur had some positive words for Love.

“I’ve got a ton of confidence in him,” LaFleur said. “I think that there’s nobody else I’d rather have than Jordan.”

Love has had his best season yet. He is 291 of 439 for 3381 yards with 23 touchdowns and six interceptions. While Love is fit to play today, the Packers’ roster has been impacted by injuries, which could affect the game.

Jordan Love on What the Playoffs Are About

This will mark Love’s fourth playoff start. Although he does not have a ton of playoff experience yet, at 27, he has enough.

“I think everybody knows it’s playoffs. It’s win or go home,” Love said. “You got to go out there play your best ball and execute at a high level. And if you don’t, you’re going to end up losing the game. It comes down to who executes the best, who takes care of the ball the best and who puts up the most points.”
