Cooper DeJean is still learning some of his first lessons in the NFL as the Philadelphia Eagles’ cornerback heads into his third season. One of those lessons could be that everything eventually leaks, including relationships.
Rumors have been swirling that DeJean and WWE star and television personality Nikki Bella have been dating. However, there was little officially confirmed. That is, until now. Fans were given perhaps the clearest statement from one of the two yet in a WWE clip via a Dov Kleiman post on Monday. Bella mentioned the Eagles and DeJean in the clip.
“Is that for the Eagles not getting into the Super Bowl or for us?” Bella said.
“I think they were saying ‘Coop,'” Bella’s co-star said.
“Can you blame a girl for having good taste? I mean, Pro Bowl, baby,” Bella said.
The 42-year-old WWE star initially thought she was hearing boos, but was seemingly unpracticed in hearing the difference between hearing a crowd say “coop” versus hearing a crowd boo. Still, she eventually got around to an answer that seemingly all but confirmed at least an interest in the nearly 23-year-old cornerback.
Did Cooper DeJean and Nikki Bella Ever Go On A Date?
With Nikki Bella issuing what appeared to be confirmation of an interest in the cornerback, the next question is whether the two have spent any time together. According to a Jan. 6 report by TMZ, Bella and DeJean have been “spending some time together.”
“The WWE star and Philadelphia Eagles cornerback have been spending some time together and even been on dates … but Nikki is still very single and enjoying life,” TMZ reported.
The report mentions that the relationship was casual at that time and that her career and son Matteo took priority at that time.
A month later, has anything changed? Bella, at least, still apparently carries interest.
