Relationships can be a massive challenge, even for NFL stars and their wives, such as Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly Stafford. The two have been through thick and thin, and there have been rough patches in their relationship with one another, as Kelly herself just attested to.
She appeared on Dr. Garth Fisher’s “Cutting Edge” podcast, with the titular host asking her what she would say to her younger self, and she opened up about her early doubts in her relationship with reigning NFL MVP Matthew Stafford, and how she tried to overcome them.
“I think I would tell myself that I had a lot of doubts regarding, you know, he was leaving and just my thought process through it all and remind myself to not lose myself in it all. You end up being this partner and your image is kind of known as I was ‘Matthew Stafford’s girlfrend’ and I was ‘Matthew Stafford’s fiancee’ and ‘Matthew Stafford’s Wife’ and you tend and you tend to lose who tou are, and I did, and so for me, I would stay true to the values I have, remind her that I could chase after my own goals too.”
She and Matthew Stafford have been married since 2015 and they now have four children together, all of whom are daughters. The twins, Sawyer and Chandler, are the eldest, with Hunter and Tyler being the two youngest. Their daughters went viral when he led the Rams to a Super Bowl, with fans adoring their daughters as they celebrated.
Kelly and Matthew Stafford Have Been Selling Some of Their SoCal Properties
The Stafford family has multiple properties all over Southern California. However, they raised a few eyebrows after they sold three of their homes in the area for $21 million. These include the two properties he had bought from the popular rapper Drake.
This had triggered a few questions regarding his future with the Rams, but it seems that the Staffords still have a few properties all over SoCal and were just simply selling some of their properties.
