Giants GM Makes No. 10 Pick Obvious Following Dinner With Arizona State Star

The New York Giants, now coached by John Harbaugh, are making a lot of moves in the offseason, and who they will be selecting in the 2026 NFL Draft may have just been confirmed. As of this moment, rumblings of the Giants picking Arizona State Sun Devils wide receiver Jordyn Tyson are as rampant as ever, given that they recently met him, and they even made a blockbuster deal with another team.

On Saturday, football reporter Ian Rapoport reported that the Giants have traded defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence to coach Zac Taylor’s Cincinnati Bengals in an exchange that will give the New York-based franchise the No. 10 overall pick in the upcoming draft. Along with this, the Giants will be getting premium draft compensation, while Lawrence lands in Cincinnati, where he can continue to shine.

Another report by Garafolo was released, indicating that Giants general manager Joe Schoen attended a recent workout by Tyson in Arizona. It was also confirmed that he and Tyson had dinner together the night before the said workout.

It seems as clear as day that the Giants are eyeing Tyson to be their wide receiver for the future, as they are looking to take him with the 10th overall pick in the first round. The Giants have been looking to retool all offseason following their lackluster 2025 campaign, in which they finished with an overall record of 4-13 and failed to make the league’s postseason.

Jordyn Tyson Led The Arizona State Sun Devils To A Winning Record In 2025

Jordyn Tyson’s draft stock may have been significantly impacted by how he fared in the recently concluded 2025 college football season.

The said campaign was Tyson’s second year with coach Kenny Dillingham’s Arizona State Sun Devils, in which he led them to an overall record of 8-5 (6-3 Big 12).

Tyson then declared for this year’s NFL Draft after just three years in college, with his first year being spent with the Colorado Buffaloes.
