San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle’s wife, Claire Kittle, opened up about the tight bond shared by the players’ partners on the team.
During a street-side interview in front of the Golden Gate Bridge with “WAGTalk” on Saturday, Claire explained that the group of wives and girlfriends of 49ers players stays connected through a large messaging chat.
“There’s so many girls,” Claire said. “It doesn’t all fit into iMessage, right? So you have to use like GroupMe or WhatsApp.”
Within the larger group, Claire said she has formed close friendships with 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk’s wife, Kristin, and wide receiver Trent Taylor’s wife, Sarah.
“But I have two of my best friends on the team, Kristin Juszczyk and Sarah Taylor. We were all reunited this last year, which was so special,” Claire said.
Both Kyle Juszczyk and George Kittle have been with the 49ers since 2017. But Trent Taylor, who originally began his NFL career with the 49ers in 2017, spent two seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2021 and 2022.
In 2023, Taylor appeared in all 17 games for the Chicago Bears. He returned to the 49ers in 2024 and spent time on the practice squad before signing a reserve/future contract for the 2025 season.
Claire also noted that her friendship with Kristin has lasted nearly a decade, which feels “unbelievable” and does not usually happen in the NFL.

Claire Kittle landed a spot in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue on Feb. 5. Her lead cover shot featured her in a “cherry red” string bikini by the brand FAE.
The shoot took place on Captiva Island, Florida, and was photographed by Katherine Goguen.
Shortly after the magazine released the cover on Instagram, Kristin Juszczyk was overwhelmed for Claire.
“That’s my best friend!!!!!!” Juszczyk wrote.
Claire Kittle was featured as one of six “NFL WAGs” (wives and girlfriends) for a special digital cover.
She appeared on the digital cover alongside other NFL player-partners, including Brittany Mahomes (wife of Patrick Mahomes), Haley Cavinder (fiancée of Jake Ferguson), Christen Goff (wife of Jared Goff), Ronika Love (wife of Jordan Love), and singer Normani (fiancée of DK Metcalf).
