Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers set a new Super Bowl record by converting five field goals in the championship game. Some fans are asking him to be named MVP of Super Bowl LX.
The Seahawks made the first splash on the scoreboard and consistently scored in the first three quarters of Super Bowl LX because of the strong performance shown by the kicker against the New England Patriots. The Seahawks enjoyed a 12-0 lead by the end of three quarters, thanks in large part to Myers, who scored four field goals. He added another field goal in the final quarter of the 29-13 win.

Despite not winning the Super Bowl MVP, Jason Myers’ performance was a key reason behind Seattle raising the Lombardi Trophy. Myers cracked open the scoreboard in the first opening drive of the Seahawks with a 33-yard field goal. He scored two more field goals in the second quarter from 39 and 41 yards. He added another successful 41-yarder in the third quarter. In the final quarter, he kicked a 26-yard field goal to finish the game with 5-5 field goal outing.
