Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel’s cheating scandal has been blowing out of proportion for the past few weeks after the couple was spotted holding hands, hugging and spending time together in a hot tub at a luxurious resort in Arizona.
While Russini faces a potential extinction in her career as a journalist after she had to resign from her job at “The Athletic,” Vrabel has had a different pathway since the scandal blew off.
After Vrabel called the situation “laughable,” he later addressed it with the media and even skipped Day 3 of the draft in order to seek counselling, aiming to be a better father and a husband.
During a conversation with Jason Whitlock on Thursday, analyst Jason Brown, who is also known as Coach JB, spoke about where Mike Vrabel stands in terms of his future with the Patriots:
“If you had asked me a week ago, I would have said, I’m worried his marriage goes faster, like it goes first. But man, a lot has transpired in the last week. Remember we talked about counselling, how that, and then he misses the third day of the draft to go get counselling.
“And you wonder almost if that’s his wife like saying, all right, how much does this mean to you? Are you going to go this Saturday when you have the draft on this and he’s got to do, yes, yeah, I’ll do whatever it takes to save our marriage. So I do think, like, he’s putting forth the effort. She’s showing the effort.”
Jason Whitlock captioned the post:
“The Mike Vrabel/Dianna Russini scandal has gotten to a point where Vrabel’s future with the Patriots could be more at risk than his marriage.”
