The Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini scandal has been one of the biggest storylines of the 2026 NFL offseason after the two were spotted together at a resort in Sedona, Arizona.
The leaked photos from the Sedona resort were just the start of the scandal, as more photos and details emerged from their alleged 6-year relationship.
The photos consisted of them getting seemingly cozy at a bar in 2020, followed by receipts of them renting a boat together while Russini was pregnant with her first child.
Most recently, Vrabel was under scrutiny for taking a puppy with him to face the press on Friday, which many people thought was a PR tactic.

Robert Kraft Backs Mike Vrabel After “Tumultuous” Offseason Run
Patriots owner Robert Kraft was asked about his team’s head coach, Mike Vrabel’s “tumultuous” offseason this year that took place because of the Russini controversy.
Reiterating his support for Vrabel during a conversation on “First Take”, Kraft said the franchise is privileged to have him as the head coach.
“You know, no one is infallible,” Kraft said when asked how he’s navigating Vrabel’s “tumultuous” offseason. “And what’s great about Mike is, he has great intellectual knowledge about football, all the technical skills. He relates to the players beautifully, and I have strong faith in him. And I hope he’s gonna be our head coach for many years to come.”
Kraft further heaped praise on Vrabel, highlighting his ability to connect with his players, saying the Patriots head coach has a unique way of relating to them.
The Patriots’ owner also set his expectations for the 2026 season straight, saying he expects the team to make the playoffs every year.
