The Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel reports have become the front-page story that the NFL desperately needed in what could be the de facto kickoff to the build-up of the NFL draft. In the wake of speculation and allegations of the two having a relationship, the next question the NFL zeitgeist has asked is whether Russini and her husband, Kevin, are in the process of separating.
In a clip of a Fox Sports Radio segment via College Transfer Portal on X, Russini made a reference to divorce, but appeared to joke that while things were rocky, the two were together. It is a resurfaced Super Bowl Radio Row clip from February. It was difficult to tell whether she was doing a bit that her colleagues on the show were getting a kick out of, so she continued, or whether she was speaking frankly.
“We’re getting divorced at the end of the year,” she said. “It’s hard. It’s hard. We’re going through it. He doesn’t even know who I am right now. We’ve talked about it. We’ve never been more disconnected in our lives. Our text messages look like two robots. ‘Hello.’ ‘Hello.’ ‘Safe?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘Boys alive?’ ‘Uh-huh.’ Not even an emoji.”
“I get a picture of Mikey and Georgie perfectly dressed because Kevin’s so good at that and I’ll write back ‘miss you guys.’ He texts me the next day ‘going to work.’ What? 15 hours just passed. I have a lot of work to do when I get home. A lot of work to do.”
Of course, if the divorce plans are true, planning for a separation “at the end of the year” makes it seem that the plans are not set in stone and as with any delayed plans, anything can happen to derail the plan over such a long time.
Dianna Russini Stays Quiet on X Amid Questions
During the course of the tsunami of hoopla surrounding the viral photos of Patriots HC Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini, the insider has had days to respond on X, where she is easily found.
However, the insider has stayed mum on the topic, instead posting about football news exclusively as if there was no zeitgeist feasting for a public written response from the insider.
