In a heartwarming moment, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim and Los Angeles Rams star Myles Garrett shared a moment during the ESPYs. It was the Olympic silver medalist who presented the “Best Record-Breaking Performance” award that night, along with Tiffany Haddish, and it was her boyfriend who won, leading to that viral moment on stage.
The moment led to a kiss and that now-famous “kiss on the lips” comment from co-presenter Tiffany Haddish.
Behind the scenes, Kim was not surprised that Myles Garrett won the award.

While Garrett is yet to taste championship glory in the NFL, Chloe Kim has won Olympic gold twice and a silver at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy earlier this year. She won her first gold medal when she was still 17 in the 2018 PyeongChang Games in South Korea.
The couple glammed it up earlier in the night on the red carpet, with Kim catching a lot of attention in her strapless burgundy one-piece dress.
As for why he won that award, Myles Garrett set the all-time NFL record for the most sacks in a single season after he tallied 23 sacks while playing for the Cleveland Browns last season. He was eventually traded to the Los Angeles Rams, which has increased his chances of winning the Super Bowl.
Myles Garrett Believes Chloe Kim Might Have Already Known He Would Win During His ESPYs Speech
During his awards show speech, Myles Garrett thanked a lot of people. A big part of that speech was dedicated to Chloe Kim, and he noted that the Olympic Snowboarder might have already known the results as she was the presenter.
“Thank you, baby, for keeping a secret like that, because you definitely knew,” he said in his speech.
The NFL star also thanked his siblings, brother and former NBA player Sean Williams, his sister, Texas A&M weight throw star Brea Garrett, for all their support. He also thanked his parents.
