Breece Hall Trade Rumors: Insider Reveals Jets Asking Price For Standout RB Amid 1-7 Record

The New York Jets are currently struggling, having the worst record in the NFL at 1-7. Now, there are rumors that they may be trading their star running back, Breece Hall, but he would not be coming cheap, especially with the trade deadline fast approaching.

Underdog NFL revealed several trade rumors ahead of the trade deadline on Tuesday. These include the Miami Dolphins seeking to trade Jaelan Phillips for a third round pick, while the Washington Commanders are looking for a pass rusher. As for Breece Hall, the Jets want “at least a third-round pick.”

“Jets looking for at least a third-round pick in return for Breece Hall.” reported Underdog NFL.

Despite the Jets’ lackluster record, Hall has been a constant force for the team, with 581 rushing yards on 117 carries, with two rushing touchdowns. He has spent his entire career with the Jets so far and is usually one of the broght spots for the always-struggling team.

Last year, he put up 876 rushing yards on 209 carries, with five touchdowns, which means that the Jets might be losing a lot of production this season in trading him, but are looking to shore up their future seasons with an early draft pick.

Meanwhile, NFL Insider Tom Pelissero, during his appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show” on Nov. 1, revealed that the Jets want the trade to further make the team stronger as they struggle in getting a win. However, he believes that they want a very high pick for them to give him up.

“If you’re getting offered a fourth-round pick for Breece Hall, which clears virtually no money off your books, and he’s your best player on offense, why would you look to just offload that guy? He might still be there,” he said. “You might be able to get an extension done with him.”

Kansas City the Favorites To land Breece Hall

More rumors have popped up regarding Breece Hall, with several teams interested in the young running back. The favorite for now seems to be the Kansas City Chiefs.

He noted that the move was very clear that Jets head coach Aaron Glenn wants a first round draft pick in exchange for the best running back in his team. Meanwhile, Dianna Russini of The Athletic says they really do not want to trade him, but would want a 3rd round pick if forced to.
