Braxton Berrios Breaks Silence on Ex Alix Earle’s Massive Fued With Alex Cooper While Being on Coffee Date

Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios was recently approached for comments about everything that is unfolding between his ex-girlfriend Alix Earle and Alex Cooper.

Earle and Cooper’s feud has been going on since last February, when the latter’s Unwell Network dropped Berrios’ girlfriend’s “Hot Mess” podcast. However, in April, the feud has gone to another level with both now directly taking a dig at each other.

In the meantime, TMZ reached out to Berrios, who was having an Americano black coffee at a local restaurant with a girl. In the video TMZ shared, the reporter asks Berrios to share his take on the ongoing feud between his ex and Cooper. The wide receiver only said this much:

    “I hope it goes alright.”

Without delving into details, Berriors just hopes that everything is alright between the two. The wide receiver and Earle broke up last year as their professional careers were not allowing them to spend enough time with each other.

Entire Feud Between Braxton Berrios’ Ex Alix Earle and Alex Cooper Explained

Both top female content creators joined hands in the summer of 2023 when Alex Cooper launched the Unwell Network. The collaboration required Alix Earle to “develop a variety of multiplatform concepts and projects,” per Variety.

By September, Earle launched her podcast “Hot Mess” under Unwell. Everything supposedly went well until last year, when tensions started to creep in Feb. 2025. Earle reportedly didn’t attend the Unwell Super Bowl party in New Orleans despite being in town. Before Feb. ended, Hot Mess was dropped from Unwell. Cooper’s network reportedly “renounced all rights” to the podcast so “Earle can freely explore future opportunities.”

The following month, Earle announced a pause on Hot Mess without providing any reason. After few months, in May, Earle told WSJ Magazine that she plans to resume Hot Mess. In August, Earle posted a TikTok video, saying:

“My Co–Star told me that I can start sh*t today. I mean, is this my time that I’ve been waiting for to go? It’s like, I have so much information. We could go.”

The feud was escalated this month after Earle reposted a TikTok video criticizing Cooper by user TheBravoMom. The user said in the video:

“[Cooper is] so awful and I wish that more women…would stop making [Call Her Daddy] their first stop after something happens in their lives because she is profiting off of women’s heartaches and failures.”

Cooper responded with a TikTok video, where she directly calls out Earle for ” passive-aggressive reposts and the likes and commenting on things.” She asks Earle to speak out about everything she wants to, saying no NDA is stopping her.

“What’s the beef?” Cooper added. “‘Cause I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from other sh*t going online for you. Not interested. I know what happened, and so do you. So talk. Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me. So unless you actually have something to say, I’m out. This is over.”

    Under Cooper’s video, Earle commented:

    “Okay on it.”

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, whose company previously owned Call Her Daddy, shared the details he learned from fellow content creator Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. She reportedly said the feud goes back to “brand deals and taking deals from each other.”

After her comment went viral online, Cooper called out LaPaglia for providing fake narrative, while also claiming that she never met her in person. In response, LaPaglia also shared her own side of the story, involving Earle.

“From what Alix Earle told me, Alex Cooper is a very, very mean person,” LaPaglia said. “Or maybe, when Dave called me, when Alex signed Grace to Unwell, and she called Dave and said, ‘I don’t give a f*ck about Grace. I don’t give a f*ck about Brianna. All I care about is making money.’ Yeah, maybe my f*cking narrative switched on you after I found things out about you. I used to be a fan, clearly I’m not anymore.”

The feud is still escalating as more can soon come out between Earle and Cooper.
