    2026 NFL Draft Weather Forecast: Full Breakdown of Conditions This Week at Pittsburgh

    The NFL Draft is almost upon us, with representatives from all the franchises in the league and a plethora of players from college football converging on Pittsburgh over the next three days for the awaited event.

    Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza is almost assured to become the first overall pick of the draft, as the Las Vegas Raiders, who hold the pick, are looking for a new franchise quarterback and have been heavily linked with the 2025 Heisman Trophy winner.

    The main events of the NFL Draft are centered around Acrisure Stadium and Point State Park, with this edition of the event marking the first time since 1948 that Pittsburgh is hosting it.

    For the first night of the event, fans can expect the city to be cloudy yet welcoming. According to the forecast, Pittsburgh is slated for a nice 76 degrees, with significant cloud cover. Precipitation odds are just at 15%, while humidity is 48%.

    On Friday, the cloud cover is expected to increase, and sunshine should disappear for the time being, but precipitation odds turn down to 10%, and the temperature will go up to 80 degrees, and the low is set for 56.

    Humidity will be around 46%. There’s a significant chance of rain on Saturday, when the odds go up to 35%, and the humidity to 80%. It’s expected that there will be at least some light rain, with the temperature going down to 63 degrees on the high and 45 on the low.

    When Does the NFL Draft Start?

    The NFL Draft is set to start this Thursday at 8 p.m. ET. It’s expected that it will last between three and three and a half hours. The event will air on ESPN, the NFL Network, and ABC. It will also be streamed through NFL Plus.

    Rounds 2 and 3 will start at 7 p.m. ET on Friday. The time teams have to make their picks goes down with every round, so on Friday, expect the NFL Draft to be on TV for some four hours. Rounds 4 through 7 will air on Saturday, from noon. That day it’s expected to last between six and seven hours.

    Teams have eight minutes to make their picks on round 1, seven on round 2, five on rounds 3 through 6, and four in round 7.
