The Indiana Hoosiers and the Miami Hurricanes are set to go head-to-head for the national title at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. There’s going to be a halftime show that’ll only add to the excitement of the final game.
The CFP championship game has had some incredible halftime shows in the past. Last year, in addition to the marching bands of two teams, rapper Travis Scott performed his song ‘4×4’ for the national audience.
Who is Performing at the CFP Championship Game Halftime Show?
This year, upholding the longstanding tradition, the marching bands from Indiana and Miami will feature during the halftime show. The spotlight this year will entirely be on the artists from the two universities.
DJ Mal-Ski and Hussein & The Fire Drummers are also among the performers during the game. The artistic celebration doesn’t end there. There’ll also be a special performance of the national anthem.
“Prior to kickoff at the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship, American Idol winner Jamal Roberts will perform the national anthem at Hard Rock Stadium,” CFP’s official X handle announced.
There were also rumors about rapper/singer Pitbull taking the stage during the game. Although Pitbull won’t be part of the halftime performance, he is headlining an event right outside Hard Rock Stadium.
Pitbull will perform at the Capital One Music Stage at Allstate Championship Tailgate before the game. Latina country singer Kat Luna is also slated to perform at the same event, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
