“What a Clutch Ending”: Erika Kirk Catches the Knicks’ Massive Win, Admits To Watching Basketball Again After Long Hiatus

The New York Knicks’ stellar comeback win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday had everyone talking, including Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika.

The Knicks erased a 29-point deficit and took the lead with 1.2 seconds left when Jalen Brunson’s miss was tipped in by OG Anunoby, sending the packed Madison Square Garden into a frenzy.

Charlie, a Republican political activist, was assassinated during a student interaction at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. Erika, his wife, has now assumed her late husband’s roles, including as the CEO of Turning Point USA, a non-profit organization founded by Charlie.

After the thrilling finish to the game, Erika wrote on X:

“First time watching basketball in way too long! What a clutch ending for the Knicks tonight!!!”

The Knicks have now taken a commanding 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals and are a win away from their first championship in 53 years.

Brunson and Anunoby led the team’s offense with 36 and 33 points, respectively, on a night Karl-Anthony Towns struggled.

The Knicks’ celebrity bench was also replete with popular names, including comedian and actor Ben Stiller, Timothee Chalamet, and Kylie Jenner. American pop sensation Taylor Swift, hip hop artist Nas, actor Adam Sandler, Hailey Bieber, and talk show host Jimmy Fallon were also present.

The Knicks will now travel back to San Antonio for Game 5. The Cleveland Cavaliers are the only team to overcome a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals, and the Spurs will hope to follow suit.
