Pat Beverley Waits 57 Days to Ridicule Trae Young After Trade to Washington

Pat Beverley shared his thoughts on the Trae Young trade, almost 57 days after the shifty guard was traded to Washington. The former NBA guard’s comments got fans to question the timing of the reaction, maybe because the former Milwaukee Buck has been out of the NBA for some time. He was last reported to be playing in the Greek Basketball League.

In a post on X, Beverley wrote:

“Wait wait. Looky looky what happen?? Aww ok I guess I wasn’t wrong!! And why didn’t a contending team want him? And why did ATL trade franchise?”

Pat Beverley is not a stranger to controversies, as he faced trial for an assault on his sister. However, the court recently ordered that all the charges against the athlete be dropped due to insufficient evidence.

Beverley’s teenage sister filed charges against her brother and claimed that she was grabbed by the neck and punched in her eye during an altercation with the former NBA guard. He expressed his thoughts after the court’s order and thanked his fans for their support.

“I am deeply grateful,” Pat Beverley opens up about the case’s outcome

After the court decided to drop charges against him, Pat Beverley took to X and shared his gratitude to fans for supporting him during difficult times. He wrote:

I am deeply grateful for all thoughts and prayers for the family. We must continue to protect our children, especially our young girls. This ordeal has truly made our family stronger. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.”

Beverley was arrested on November 14 after Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Deputy Miguel Ramirez addressed a family violence situation at around 3:50 a.m. Ramirez reported that Beverley’s sister told him that her mother had called the former NBA player to come over after discovering that the girl had been out with her boyfriend without permission.
