Jaden Ivey and his wife, Caitlyn Ivey, have seemingly patched things up after the former Chicago Bulls guard accused her of cutting off communication with him. He made that claim after the Bulls waived him early this month for controversial remarks about Pride Month and religion.
On Monday, the combo guard shared a photo on Instagram and wrote:
“Thank you, Jesus, for saving us. Thank you for your mercy and goodness towards u.”
Caitlyn Ivey responded to the message:
“My Love.”

In early April, while engaging fans on IG Live, Ivey told them that his family members were “betraying me.” He said that they were calling him “crazy” because he said “the truth.” The 24-year-old basketball player continued that his wife refused to communicate with him.
The viral clip resulted in backlash against Caitlyn Ivey, who responded to critics with a message via an IG story. She wrote:
“If you know me, you know I have never once abandoned that man through all the trials.. And still haven’t now.”
Despite her message, a video of her refusing to appear in another Jaden Ivey IG Live session fueled more rumors that the couple could be headed for a divorce.
The Iveys’ shared photo on Monday was the first time they appeared together on social media. Many are hoping they have navigated past rough waters that nearly threatened to separate them.
Fans React to Jaden Ivey’s Instagram Post With His Wife Caitlyn Ivey
Jaden Ivey has largely been out of the limelight for nearly a month. Still, the photo he shared on Instagram with his wife was greeted with reactions from fans.
One fan wrote:
“Only a white woman could put up with his crazy a**.”
Another fan added:
“She look checked out.”
One more fan continued:
“Nice to see them doing well. Salute, my brother.”
Another fan commented:
“He makes me nervous. She should leave, she’s getting her a** beat or m*rdered at some point.”
One fan tweeted:
“I wish him the best but this ain’t gonna last. Her face is saying a lot.”
While some were convinced that the Iveys had overcome their toughest trial to date, others remained doubtful about the real score. Only time will tell how the relationship will move on after their public disagreement.
