It’s been a month since the New York Knicks completed a gentleman’s sweep of the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals. For Karl-Anthony Towns’ fiancée Jordyn Woods, the championship euphoria hasn’t quite subsided.
On Monday, Woods shared a celebratory pic posted by the Knicks on Instagram. The image shows Towns holding the Larry O’Brien Trophy beside Jalen Brunson, who was crowned Finals MVP.
“To everyone who celebrates, Happy 1 month Champ-iversary to Knicks Nation,” Woods wrote.

Woods, of course, has been credited for bringing good mojo to the team via her “lucky bag.” In terms of front office moves, the Knicks’ purposeful roster construction has paid off brilliantly.
Carefully constructed through trades and free agent signings over the past four years, the Knicks gained traction as a playoff contender under head coach Tom Thibodeau. In the 2025 playoffs, the Knicks (led by Brunson and Towns, who’d been traded by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the offseason) reached the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in 25 years.
The Knicks were vanquished by the Indiana Pacers in seven games, but heading into the 2025-26 campaign, the front office decided to run things back with the same core. On the coaching end, Thibodeau was dismissed and Mike Brown was brought in to give New York’s offense a different look.
With Brown on the sidelines, the Knicks won 53 regular season games and went on an incredible streak in the playoffs, pulling off 13 consecutive postseason victories. In the Finals, Towns held his own against MVP finalist Victor Wembanyama while Brunson continued to spearhead the offense as the Knicks ended a 53-year championship drought.
Knicks Summer League Center Declares His Fit With NBA Champions
With the New York front office constantly looking at ways to fine-tune their roster, a Knicks Summer League center has declared his fit with the team.
After the Knicks defeated the Detroit Pistons in Summer League action on Monday, Liam Robbins assured his squad that he has good qualities to offer.
“I’ve just shown I’m someone who can come in and give good energy, play defense, and just play the Knick way. Obviously, that’s a championship-level organization, so you want to show that you’re giving a championship effort.”
The 7-foot Robbins, a Vanderbilt product who spent time with the Rip City Remix this past season, finished with 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists against the Pistons.
