LeBron James Reunion With Cavaliers Suddenly Looks More Real Than Ever After Latest Insider Update

The picture of LeBron James’ next team is slowly getting clearer with every passing day, though there is no official confirmation yet. While several sources believed that the Golden State Warriors or the Miami Heat could present an offer to the four-time NBA champion, ESPN analyst Brian Windhorst has given another big update that would make Cleveland fans happy.

Windhorst, on ESPN on Tuesday, shared the latest insight about James’ prospects, saying that the Cavaliers might be the biggest contenders to land King James:

“I’m talking to people in Philly, and I’m like, ‘What do you think?’ They’re like, ‘We’re afraid it’s Cleveland.’ Everybody I talk to is saying they’re afraid it’s Cleveland. Nobody seems like they have optimism, to be honest.”

The opportunity to end it all where it started would be exciting for the Ohio native, and the team also fulfils his requirement of being a title contender. Moreover, he will once again get to play in the less-competitive Eastern Conference, where he has a better chance of playing in the NBA Finals.

Analyst reports LeBron James wasn’t meeting with any team

LeBron James’ agent, Rich Paul, has been at the center of the conversations around James’ next team. He made hints about the prospects on his “Game Over” podcast with Max Kellerman. And it seems he now has the keys to lead the contract negotiations completely on his own.

On NBA TV’s “The Association,” analyst Chris Haynes shared the insights:

“As of right now, there are no plans for LeBron to engage in any meetings to allow him to pitch on any idea of coming to their respective teams. What I’m told is that his agent, Rich Paul, is doing all the background work. he’s talking with teams. In return, he will relay all the intel and data to LeBron James.”

Paul also said earlier that there won’t be any news on the forward in the coming days. However, fans wait with bated breath to see where the superstars will land next. The Cavs have a great package, including a balanced, young team that has tasted some success in the playoffs.
