Karl-Anthony Towns’ girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, recently shared her appreciation for a piece of delicacy on social media. KAT and the Knicks have made a strong start to their finals run, as the team survived Game 2 after Victor Wembanyama missed the game-winner. Woods backed a New York-based restaurant on Instagram.
The Corner Store in New York introduced a new Knicks special burger named “The Bodega” after the team made its first NBA Finals since 1999. Bodega sandwiches are one of the classic New York fast foods, popular in the city. As per the post, the restaurant was only offering 10 orders of the special sandwich every night. The delicacy belongs to the popular chef, Eugene Remm.
Woods shared the video of the dish on her Instagram story and wrote a three-word message:
“We made it!!”

The special sandwich will be a hot favorite when the team gets back home to Madison Square Garden for Game 3. New York fans will be especially pumped when the team plays a finals game after more than half a century of waiting, especially with the team’s one hand already on the Larry O’Brien.
Woods was present for the second win of the Knicks at the Spurs’ home arena, along with Towns’ father, Karl-Anthony Towns Sr. Moreover, it was a great day for the family to be sitting courtside, as KAT had a stellar game.
Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks in Game 3
As Udonis Haslem believes, “your stars win you two games.” Karl-Anthony Towns was the hero of the last one. He led the offense with 21 points and 13 rebounds, and continued the stellar job he did on the glass in Game 1. That has surely been the key in the first two games, given Wemby’s presence in the paint.
Besides KAT, Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby supported the offense perfectly. OG was especially good on the defense with two steals and two blocks. It was a night of return for D’Aaron Fox of the Spurs as well, who was not very efficient in Game 1. He shot 8-12 from the field and was perfect from deep.
Wemby threw the ball over in the last play that led to New York’s final two points to take the lead. That proved to be too costly for the team. The Knicks will now be back at MSG for the next game, where President Donald Trump is also scheduled to arrive in support of his home team.
