Dwight Howard’s personal and professional life has been filled with antics, and there have been multiple controversies about his dating history. Once again, his previous relationship with rapper and TV personality Amy Luciani has come to light after she accused the former NBA forward of drug usage.
In a video posted on social media by Luciani, she detailed the entire situation and even showed a bag of cocaine that she claimed belonged to Howard. She added that in the last few days, Child Protective Services was called three times to her place when the situation got out of hand.
A user on X shared the video of Howar’s partner on X and wrote:
“Amy Luciani cries as she says CPS took her daughter because of her husband, Dwight Howard, who she says has a cocaine problem, showing a bag of cocaine allegedly owned by him.”
After the 3-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year was involved in another controversy with his partner, fans wonder about his earlier marriages and dating history.
How many times has Dwight Howard been married?
Dwight Howard was selected first overall in the 2004 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic, and he spent almost a decade with the franchise. He met his first partner, Royce Reed, when he was still with the Magic, and Reed was a cheerleader with the team. The two have a son named Braylon, who was born in 2007.
Since then, the former Laker has had multiple partners and has a total of five kids with different women. However, he has been married twice thus far, and both have gone downhill very quickly. The 2020 NBA champion first married WNBA star Te’a Cooper in 2020 after the two met in 2019. She is currently part of the LA Sparks squad.
Howard and Cooper did not have any kids and were separated after just a year of their wedding. The WNBA star has since reportedly moved on and was even involved in other relationships. After that, Howard met rapper and music artist Amy Luciani sometime in 2023. Howard has always kept his personal life private, and the same was with Luciani.
The couple announced their engagement in 2024 and married soon after in January 2025. However, after just six months as a married couple, Luciani, whose real name was Amber Rose, decided to file for a divorce, stating that their marriage was irretrievably broken with no prospect of reconciliation.
Luciani mentioned her kids, a daughter and a stepson, when she opened up about what happened with Howard. She even claimed that the former NBA forward corroborated a lie in front of the child services and made her son lie.
