“Guess I’m an opp now”: Kyle Kuzma Flips the Bird in Hilarious Meltdown After Giannis Antetokounmpo Ghosts Him

Kyle Kuzma openly expressed his anger toward his teammate, Giannis Antetokounmpo, calling him out on social media. The Milwaukee Bucks finished 11th in the Eastern Conference after multiple issues derailed the team’s 2025-26 season. While Giannis prepares for the offseason amid talks about his trades, his teammate has announced a beef with him.

Kuzma seemingly FaceTimed the Greek Freak, but the forward appears to be enjoying the offseason with his family and didn’t answer. However, Kuzma wasn’t happy with the ignorance and hilariously expressed his anger by giving him the finger. He shared a picture of himself with a screenshot of a FaceTime call to Giannis on his Instagram story, and wrote:

“Unreal this guy doesn’t answer his phone anymore I guess I’m a opp now.”

Though “opp,” which means opponent, might be pointing to the fact that he was upset with his teammate, it could also be a hint that they were on different teams now, given multiple rumors about Giannis’ trade. Some sources even suggested that Kuzma might also be on the chopping block if the front office aims to move its pieces, with a change in coaching staff.

Besides enjoying time with his family, Giannis might be busy scrolling through rumors about his trade prospects. The Bucks forward was in the news earlier due to turmoil with the franchise last season, as fans believed that he might be traded from Milwaukee.

As the NBA offseason kicks in, Giannis might be one of the hottest prospects on the market. Meanwhile, some insiders suggested that he was only interested in moving to Miami if the possibility arose. However, new updates have seemingly changed the perspective.

Giannis Antetokounmpo expresses hope to be in Milwaukee for “many more years”

After a few insiders suggested that Giannis Antetokounmpo might be interested in moving to Miami this offseason, he said he was willing to stay with the Bucks. Fullcourtpass shared the update on X, where Giannis said:

“They reached out and said they want to open a restaurant here in Milwaukee. I was like ‘oh,lovely!’ After the games I’ll be able to come eat here… 2013, I got drafted, I came here, I’ve been here 13 years with the team and hopefully many more.”

Giannis has reiterated his wish to keep playing in Milwaukee several times in the past, whenever the rumors about his trade have made noise on social media. This also led to a social media tussle between him and the NBA media, especially ESPN insider Sham Charania. Only time will tell if the rumors this time materialize into something.
