Draymond Green and technical fouls have a never-ending story in the NBA, and that has led to various controversial events. One of those came in the Golden State Warriors’ recent inter-conference game against the New York Knicks. When fans criticized Green’s antics on social media, the Warriors veteran even had some one-to-ones with those users.
In the fourth quarter, when Knicks forward Karl-Anthony Towns went for a play with Green defending him, the Warriors forward tripped to the floor while allegedly taking KAT with him as he grabbed the Knicks player with his ankle. It was initially given a defensive foul, but later changed to a flagrant foul 1 on Green after review.
These scuffles have been regular around one of the greatest trash-talkers. He was fourth in technical fouls in the league last season and is third this season. The KAT incident sparked debates on social media as fans took to the comment section to give their thoughts. However, the 4-time NBA champion was not ready to take it lightly.
Under the video uploaded by “wholikessports” on Threads, a fan criticized Green’s act and wrote:
“Draymond is a clown 🤡 🤣 no skills whatsoever 😂 and people try to compare him to Rodman, laughable”
Green replied to the fan:
“Imagine say I don’t have any skills and I’m a clown. You don’t know me or basketball 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣”

Another fan quipped:
“No way this is really you going in with people on threads”
Green replied to the comment and wrote:
“Sucks to suck 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣”

The greatest trash talkers seemed to be in no remorse after he was called for the foul. On top of that, he jumped and celebrated after Towns was unable to drain the free throw awarded to the team. However, KAT seemed unfazed by the incident after the game.
“I’m good,” Karl-Anthony Towns speaks about the Draymond Green incident
Trash talks have always been a part of the NBA, and many have reaped the benefits using it at the right time, some more than others. While a few players let it impact them, Karl-Anthony Towns knew how to handle that.
When asked after the game about his scuffle with Draymond Green, the Knicks All-Star said:
“Ain’t no relevance in my life… I’m good.”
Even though they suffered a crushing defeat in their inter-conference matchup, the Knicks are 25-16 and the third seed in the Eastern Conference. Youngsters like OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Miles McBride have come up big, along with KAT, in the absence of Jalen Brunson.
