Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith Have Stoic Faces as Adam Silver Raves About Donald Trump Supporting Knicks

The “Inside the NBA” crew were in the same building as U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday night as Game 3 of the NBA Finals emanated from Madison Square Garden. With the game underway, the show’s analysts went viral as their faces appeared to register their feelings toward the President.

During ESPN’s pre-game coverage, Ernie Johnson and his companions got the chance to sit with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who raved about Donald Trump at one point.

“He’s welcome to be here…He was a fixture at Madison Square Garden…Back in the day, he had courtside seats.”

As Silver said these words, the analyst trio of Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley put on stoic faces. Their guest analyst Draymond Green also looked emotionless, only cracking a smile when Silver pointed out that he was younger than his fellow analysts.

Though the hype for Game 3 in MSG reached a fever pitch (thanks in large part to Trump’s attendance), the end result did not sit well with Knicks fans as their team lost 115-111 to the San Antonio Spurs.

A spirited rally by the Knicks late in the fourth quarter fell short as Victor Wembanyama helped to put the finishing touches and secure the Spurs’ first win in this series. The 7-foot-4 center finished with a team-high 32 points to go along with eight rebounds, six assists, two steals, and three blocks.

Viral Clip Allegedly Shows President Trump Falling Asleep During Game 3 at MSG

Meanwhile, a viral clip from Game 3 appears to show President Trump falling asleep in his MSG suite.

Nevertheless, Trump (a Queens native) has made history by pulling up to Madison Square Garden on Monday. As per ESPN, he is the “first sitting U.S. president to attend the NBA Finals.”
