Tyler Reddick won last week’s race at EchoPark Speedway, marking his second consecutive Cup Series victory of the 2026 season. Reddick is now the only seventh driver to win the opening two events of a Cup Series campaign. The others on the list are Matt Kenseth, Jeff Gordon, David Pearson, Bob Welborn, and Marvin Punch.
It was also Reddick’s 10th Cup Series victory, making Reddick the 67th Cup Series driver to win 10 points races. So, he celebrated in style with none other than WWE icon CM Punk as he arrived on Monday’s episode of “WWE Raw”.
Well, it made sense when Reddick and Punk exited the No. 45 Chumba Casino Toyota Camry, carrying WrestleMania titles on their shoulders. The crowd went gaga at the very first sight of the current World Heavyweight champion, who then banged belts with Reddick and put his arm around the 23XI Racing driver as they walked towards the ring.
WWE on X caught the entire moment on camera and posted it online, tagging Reddick, Punk, and 23XI Racing.
Reddick stayed winless throughout 2025, making the playoffs on points but getting chucked off the list in the Round of 8. So, kicking off the season with two back-to-back wins, one of them being the crown jewel Daytona 500, is indeed a big deal for the speedster. Reflecting on the same, Reddick said,
“To have last year play out the way that it did was rough. You got all these expectations to win multiple races… and we didn’t really live up to those last year. So we had a lot of hard conversations in the offseason on top of everything else that was going on.”
Next up for Tyler Reddick is the DuraMax Grand Prix Powered by RelaDyne on Sunday, March 1, at COTA. Fans can watch the race live on FOX, starting at 3:30 pm ET, or listen to live radio updates on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
23XI Racing Boss Michael Jordan on Tyler Reddick’s Back-to-Back Cup Series Sweep
When Tyler Reddick won the Daytona 500 earlier this month, his boss and 23XI Racing co-owner Michael Jordan was ecstatic. Jordan even said that it was like winning a championship. But the NBA legend wasn’t expecting another one just the following week.
Jordan knew the #45 crew had worked hard for it. Lauding the group for their efforts, the NBA Hall of Famer said,
“Tyler did an unbelievable job. Both teams did an unbelievable job. I wanted him to win… Tyler drove his a** off, and I’m very happy for Tyler. I’m very happy for 23XI.”
“The guys worked hard all summer,” he said. “I know we had our little ordeal, but they never gave up. They kept working hard, and this is the fruit of their labor. You know, they put forth the effort, and for us to come out and win the first two races says a lot about our whole team.”
Well, MJ was a bit sad that his other driver, Bubba Wallace, wasn’t able to make the top five despite leading 46 laps in the 260-lap event, which was again cut short due to inclement weather. That being said, Wallace did bag a P19, his first top-10 performance of this season.
