Trinity Rodman recently put her boyfriend, Ben Shelton, on the spot after he called her in the middle of an interview.
Shelton was last seen in action at the Wimbledon Championships, where he suffered an early loss to Otto Virtanen (4-6, 6-3, 7-6(8), 2-6, 6-7(11)) in the opening round on June 30. He is now reportedly preparing for the Mubadala DC Open in Washington, which is scheduled to begin on July 27.
Meanwhile, Rodman’s latest appearance on the field was during her team, Washington Spirit’s, match against the Boston Legacy FC on Sunday at Centreville Bank Stadium, where her team claimed a 2-1 victory. She scored her team’s second goal in the 31st minute.
Shortly after the match, she sat for a conversation with the USWNT when Shelton FaceTimed her during the interview. She turned her phone toward the camera and the host, putting him on the spot, and said:
“Hey, you’re on camera. Do you want to say hi? OK, gotta go. Talk to you later,” said Rodman.
Shelton and Rodman sparked dating rumors in March 2025 after exchanging playful mentions in TikTok videos. The tennis star later confirmed their relationship on Instagram. A month later, Rodman made her debut in Shelton’s player box at the BMW Open in Munich.

Ben Shelton’s girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, flew from Brazil to attend his Stuttgart Open final against Taylor Fritz on June 14. Shelton defeated Fritz with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 victory to win the title. During the trophy ceremony, he thanked his girlfriend for her support and called her his ‘lucky charm.’ Stating that he has won every tournament she has attended this year, he said:
“I want to thank my girlfriend for flying here from Brazil. I won a title at I think every tournament she’s been at this year. You’re definitely the good luck charm, so I really appreciate you making the effort,” said Shelton.
Rodman recently made her first appearance at the Wimbledon Championships to support Ben Shelton.
