Rumours of Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing moving from Ford to Dodge had been circulating the paddock for a while. Brad Keselowski took to social media and trashed the rumors. Fans then reacted to Keselowski’s tweet and made speculation of Dodge partnering with Team Penske.
Roush Performance shared a post, revealing a partnership with Dodge. The same sparked the speculations around RFK moving to Dodge. However, Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing and Roush Performance are two different companies that share Jack Roush’s name.
As Brad Keselowski came out and shut down the rumors, fans in the comments section started speculating on a Team Penske partnership with Dodge.
“Well that settles that… Did y’all hear Penske is switching to Dodge?” a user commented.
Another wrote, “Penske back to Dodge in 2028. Calling it now.”
“Ok so Penske is going Dodge Cup racing. Thanks Brad!” another wrote.
Some highlighted how Team Penske is likely to be the first choice for Dodge given their former partnership. Others questioned whether Roger Penske’s team would be interested in moving away from Ford and joining Dodge
“Idk why they’d think RFK would go to Dodge when Penske was already a Dodge team before. That’d make more sense, imho,” a user commented.
Another mentioned, “I wonder if Penske will consider going back to Dodge?”
“PENSKE and Kaulig to Dodge. My source is my ability to see into the future,” another user wrote.
Dodge and Team Penske had a decade-long partnership, which started in 2003 and ended in 2012, with Brad Keselowski winning the championship. Penske then returned to Ford starting with the 2013 season. As Dodge was left without a top-tier team, they left the series after the 2012 season.
Brad Keselowski’s ‘Ford Commitment’ Tweet That Shut Down the Dodge Rumors

Apart from the Roush Performance partnership post, what gave fuel to the rumors was a report that detailed a possible return for Dodge to the Cup series for the 2027 season.
Brad Keselowski put an end to the speculations on Thursday, as he shared a post and confirmed that Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing has a “multiyear” agreement in place with Ford.
“For those asking- RFK racing has a multiyear agreement with @fordracing and a commitment from their leadership to return the program to a championship contender. Any speculation else-wise makes for great internet talk but, it is not based on anything real,” read Keselowski’s tweet.
Ford has had a difficult start to the 2027 season, with Toyota extracting the most performance for its body and Chevrolet’s new body style being the second best. Ford’s only win this season came at the Phoenix Raceway with Ryan Blaney behind the wheel of the No.12 Team Penske Ford.
