“Rammed Me As Hard as He Could”: Kyle Busch Bluntly Calls Out Noah Gragson After Massive Day-Ending Crash at Atlanta

Kyle Busch got into trouble during Sunday’s Cup Series race at EchoPark Speedway. His No. 8 Chevy was doing great until it made contact with Noah Gragson’s No. 4 Mustang off Turn 2. That crash on Lap 125 ended the day for the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion.

Busch wasn’t happy with Gragson, so he pulled no punches addressing the wreck while speaking with FOX Sports afterwards. He said (via NASCAR on FOX):

“I didn’t get the best of exits off of (Turn) 2 there. But when I drifted out to the wall, I was trying to get back straight, and (Gragson) never checked up, just rammed me as hard as he could to get me back going, to get my momentum back going again.”

“When a guy’s a little out of shape, you’ve got to give him a second to collect it before you just ram him, or at least try to check up and push gently,” Busch added. “But yeah, that’s kids these days.”

Kyle Busch entered Sunday’s event with a winless streak of over 90 races. The Autotrader 400 is currently underway, with Busch watching from the sidelines.

Next up for the Las Vegas native is the DuraMax Grand Prix Powered by RelaDyne at the Circuit of The Americas on March 1. Fans can watch the race live on FOX or listen to radio updates on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, starting at 3:30 pm ET.

Kyle Busch Wins His Third Straight Truck Series Race at Atlanta

With his most recent Craftsman Truck Series victory at EchoPark Speedway, formerly known as the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch became a three-time winner at the iconic racetrack. This one also marked his 68th Truck Series victory.

Busch’s son, Brexton, was also there to watch his dad dominate the field. Speaking of him, Busch said:

“Finally, I win one that he’s here. Huge help from behind. Carson Hocevar was a great teammate today. Early on in the race, I was like, wait a second, okay, same old Carson. But as we got towards the end, we started working together, and we started being able to maneuver our way through.”

“The second stage there, I was behind him, pushing him, we were able to go forward, and then there at the end, he was my wingman,” he added.

Kyle Busch won Saturday’s Truck Series event at EchoPark, thanks to a huge assist from his teammate and fellow Cup Series driver, Carson Hocevar. Busch drove the No. 7 Spire Motorsports entry in that race, while Hocevar drove the No. 77.
