Former NASCAR champion Kyle Busch is returning to Spire Motorsports and HendrickCars.com for a partial Craftsman Truck Series schedule in 2026. Hendrick Cars (and the Hendrick Automotive Group), owned by Hall of Famer Rick Hendrick, will sponsor Busch’s ride for most of his Truck Series campaign.
This isn’t the first time Busch is driving the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado RST. His most recent Craftsman Truck Series victory came last year at Atlanta Motor Speedway. In all, the Las Vegas native has 67 career wins in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, more than anyone else in the series.
Taking to X, Spire Motorsports revealed what Busch’s 2026 Truck Series schedule would look like. Here are the tracks Busch will run the No. 7 machine at:
- Atlanta Motor Speedway (February 21)
- Bristol Motor Speedway (April 10)
- Texas Motor Speedway (May 1)
- Dover Motor Speedway (May 15)
- Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 22)
- Nashville Superspeedway (May 29)
- North Wilkesboro Speedway (July 18)
- Richmond Raceway (August 14)
“I’m excited that after NASCAR amended the ‘Kyle Busch rule’ that I was able to work it out with Jeff (Dickerson, owner), Brian (Pattie, crew chief) and everyone at Spire Motorsports to increase my race count up to the eight that are allowed this year,” Kyle Busch said in an official team release.
“I’m looking forward to going out each and every race, giving it all we can to get Mr. H, HendrickCars.com and the other partners that will fill out the schedule to Victory Lane,” he further continued.
Kyle Busch is also the record holder for most wins in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, previously known as the NASCAR Xfinity Series (67). Additionally, in the Cup Series, Busch has the most wins among his active colleagues (63).
Kyle Busch bags multiple victories ahead of the Daytona 500
The 2026 NASCAR season hasn’t officially begun, but Kyle Busch has started winning already. The two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion turned heads as he pulled off a clean, three-night sweep at Auburndale Speedway, Jan Phyl, Florida.
Well, NASCAR doesn’t run Legend cars, but winning three straight races less than a week ahead of the 2026 Daytona 500 seems to have boosted his confidence. On X, the driver wrote:
“3️⃣ IN A ROW😏”
On the NASCAR Cup side, Busch has been winless since June 4, 2023, when he won the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Speedway. It was his first year with Richard Childress Racing and his third victory of the season.
Now all eyes are on the 68th running of the Daytona 500, which is scheduled for this Sunday, February 15. Fans can watch the race live on FOX, starting at 2:30 pm ET, or listen to live radio updates on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
