Carlos Alcaraz spent the weekend in New York, where he met rapper Travis Scott and others for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final festivities.
Before the FIFA World Cup Final between Spain and Argentina on Sunday, the seven-time Grand Slam champion participated in the pre-match ceremony, presenting the Louis Vuitton FIFA World Cup trophy trunk alongside South Korean actress and model Hoyeon.
His stay in New York led to his meeting with Scott. The photos of the same were shared on the internet. The Spanish tennis star wore a cream shirt over green baggy pants.
Alcaraz flaunted his sapphire Rolex watch worth $500K beside Scott, who wore a red jacket supporting England.
Alcaraz is in town to support the Spanish national team in the World Cup Final. Spain, which defeated France in the 2026 FIFA World Cup semifinal, is aiming to dethrone defending champion Argentina.

Carlos Alcaraz Earns Congratulatory Message from Travis Scott After Australia Open SF
Carlos Alcaraz defeated Alexander Zverev in an epic five-set semifinal, 6-4, 7-6(5), 6-7(3), 6-7(4), 7-5, in the Australian Open. The 5-hour, 27-minute contest became the longest Australian Open men’s semifinal in history.
During his on-court post-match interview, Alcaraz changed into a pair of Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low sneakers. Scott noticed Alcaraz wearing his signature shoes and posted a four-word congratulatory message on Instagram.
“Way to cook twin,” Scott wrote.
Alcaraz and sneaker stories hit different. He previously wore the Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue.”
In the Australian Open final, Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic to claim his seventh Grand Slam, also becoming the youngest to earn all four Grand Slams in tennis history.
On the tennis front, the Spaniard has been out since finishing as runner-up at the Monte-Carlo Masters in April. Since then, Alcaraz has struggled to recover from a wrist injury and has already missed participating in Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
Alcaraz is expected to return at the Cincinnati Open in mid-August, so that he can have enough game time before the 2026 US Open. Retired Spanish player Garbine Muguruza said Alcaraz must err on the side of caution as wrist injuries are complicated. He expects the Spaniard is taking proper rest measures so that such an injury doesn’t trouble him in the future at the wrong time.
