Yaxel Lendeborg Lavishes Praise on ACC Leader Duke

Yaxel Lendeborg can see why Duke is getting so much hype this season, where they are the No. 1 college basketball program in the country following their 26-2 start, with the latest victory coming against Notre Dame in blowout fashion.

They received strong praise from Michigan’s Yaxel Lendeborg following their 68-63 win against the Wolverines.

“I would say this team defensively is a lot better than everybody else in the Big Ten so far, in my opinion,” Lendeborg said. “They have a lot of athletes, a lot of really, really good defenders and know how to be in the gaps and play off each other, which is really, really tough to beat. Especially when shots aren’t falling. But this is a great learning point for us, and something to build on.”

As for Lendeborg, the Wolverines star declared for the NBA draft last year before taking his name out and transferring to Michigan to play his final season. He is expected to be picked in the upcoming NBA draft.
