Malachi Moreno is officially dropping out of the NBA draft and returning to the University of Kentucky to play for the Wildcats. He took to X to announce that he will be staying in Kentucky, saying that the job is not finished yet.
This means that Mark Pope will have his star center back and he could now focus on continuing to build his roster, with a few targets still not committing to any school. This also means that a familiar face will be present at Kentucky games to cheer on her boyfriend, Malachi Moreno on. So, who is Moreno’s girlfriend, Macey Scholten?

Scholten is a student at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, and she is often seen at Rupp Arena cheering for the Kentucky Wildcats, particularly Malachi Moreno. The two met at the school and she is currently studying Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, and Business Analytics.
A native of New Albany, Ohio, she is an incoming senior and is set to graduate from UK on May 2027. She used to study at New Albany High School and is currently a marketing intern for the Lexington-based Kentucky Eagle Inc. in addition to being a UK student.

Macey Scholten herself is very active on social media, often showing off her bikini body or her gameday fit as she cheers on her boyfriend. Her Instagram is filled with vacation photos, showing off her love of sun, sea and surf, as well as photos of herself hanging out with her friends and boyfriend Malachi Moreno.
With Moreno coming back to Kentucky after briefly entering the NBA draft and explore his odds, she is set to cheer him on from the sidelines. She is also often spotted cheering on UK’s football team.
