Tyran Stokes has all the eyes on him this transfer window. He is the No. 1 player in the country and has yet to commit to a college. For a long time, there were speculations that Mark Pope’s Kentucky had the edge.
However, his latest story repost suggested that he might choose one of the other finalists from his of three. As per reports, Stokes had finalized Kansas, Kentucky and Oregon as his final three destinations.
There were reports that he rejected Oregon and dismissed Kansas due to Adidas connection. Meanwhile, Mark Pope was pulling out one of the last ditch attempts to lure Tyran Stokes to the Kentucky Wildcats.
During an Instagram live, Tyran Stokes confirmed that Mark Pope indeed tried to appoint Jamal Crawford as one of the coaches in his Kentucky staff.
Reportedly, Mark Pope tried to recruit the three-time Sixth Man of the Year in the NBA, Jamal Crawford, as one of the members in his coaching staff at Kentucky. Crawford was also Tyran Stokes’ coach in high school. This obviously gave birth to the speculation that Pope tried to recruit the NBA veteran in order to lure Stokes.

“Jamal Crawford is a nice get, regardless of Stokes,” one fan said.
“Tried to tell you all about this kid. Hes not worth it and if Pope is waiting around for a commitment that isnt coming.hes not worth it either. Both schools should have told him to kick rocks months ago,” another commented.
