“We Gonna Spank Their F*cking A**”: Michigan Star Yaxel Lendeborg Sends Profanity Filled Warning to Matt Painter’s Purdue

Michigan Wolverines star Yaxel Lendeborg recently issued an expletive-filled warning to conference rival Purdue Boilermakers, as the two teams are set to clash soon. On Tuesday, Feb. 17, Lendeborg and the rest of coach Dusty May’s Wolverines will square off against coach Matt Painter‘s Purdue Boilermakers on the latter’s home court, the Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Indiana.

In a carousel post uploaded by @cbbcontent on Instagram on Sunday, Feb. 15, a video of Lendeborg was included, in which he can be seen all hyped up while talking about the marquee matchup against the Boilermakers in away territory.

“When we see Purdue, we’re gonna spank them right there. We’re gonna beat their f*cking *ss. F*ck Purdue. F*ck you, and f*ck you if you like Purdue. Michigan motherf*ck*r,” Lendeborg said.

“Michigan star Yaxel Lendeborg had some words for Purdue ahead of Tuesday’s matchup.. 👀 ‘When we see Purdue we gonna spank they f*cking ass. We gonna beat they f*cking ass. F*ck Purdue.’ (via @BarstoolPU/X),” @cbbcontent on Instagram captioned.

Lendeborg is currently in his third year of collegiate hoops, but first under the tutelage of coach May and the Michigan program in the 2025-26 season. This is because Lendeborg spent the first two seasons of his collegiate tenure with coach Andy Kennedy’s UAB Blazers from 2023 to 2025. So far with the Wolverines, Lendeborg has averaged 14.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.4 blocks per contest.

A win over a Big Ten conference powerhouse, such as the Boilermakers, will tremendously boost the Wolverines’ confidence, as the 2026 NCAA tournament is nearing. Both Michigan and Purdue are expected to churn out deep postseason runs this campaign, with the former even projected to be a national championship winner later this year.

The Michigan Wolverines And The Purdue Boilermakers Are Neck-And-Neck With Each Other In The Head-To-Head Record

As it currently stands, the Purdue Boilermakers hold a one-win lead (25-24) over the Michigan Wolverines in their long-tenured rivalry that has spanned decades now.

This means that both teams have always been neck-and-neck with each other, and the Wolverines have the chance to level their head-to-head record when they face off in their upcoming game.

In their most recent matchup, Michigan defeated Purdue convincingly, 86-68.
