‘Another One for the Books’: Kiyan Anthony’s Mom La La Shows Off Glamorous Outfit From Michael Rubin’s All White Party

Syracuse Orange basketball star Kiyan Anthony’s mother, La La Anthony, turned heads at Michael Rubin’s annual White Party in the Hamptons. The event, as usual, followed the signature all-white dress code.

On Thursday, La La revealed what she wore to the all-celeb party in the Hamptons. She posted a series of photos, showing her white top with multiple layers of crystal chains draped across the chest. It was an open-sided design. She wore high-waisted white tailored pants, with a slim fit through the hips and thighs. She accessorized the outfit with white open-toe heeled sandals

“Best times as always @michaelrubin WHITE PARTY!! 🤍🤍Another one in the books!!!!” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.

This year’s White Party was arranged a few days earlier than usual. According to Page Six, Rubin wanted to avoid conflict with rumored high-profile wedding celebrations of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce over the July Fourth weekend at Madison Square Garden.

Apart from La La Anthony, the party was also attended by several A-listers, including Jay-Z, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ciara, Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Russell Wilson, and many others. Guests were also treated to performances by Alicia Keys, Cardi B, Snoop Dogg, and Lil Wayne.

Kiyan Anthony’s Legendary NBA Father Opens Up On Orange Star’s Freshman Season

Kiyan Anthony is the son of Carmelo Anthony, a legendary Syracuse Orange basketball figure and a 10-time NBA All-Star. In his freshman season, Kiyan played 29 games, averaging 8.0 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 18.7 minutes per game. He could only shoot 25.4% from deep and 39.9% from the field.

Anthony, who led Syracuse to a national championship in 2023, commented on Kiyan’s freshman season, refusing to believe it was a failure.

“To me, it wasn’t a failure year for him,” he said on All The Smoke podcast. “It was something that any 18-year-old kid is going to go through in college.”

Carmelo is also well aware of the pressure his son might have faced, considering his legacy.

“You coming into one of the biggest colleges and universities in college basketball,” Melo said. “There’s a lot of history here. Your father did it. The name is on the building. That’s stamped and etched in stone for life. So there’s a lot of pressure that comes with that.”

Anthony also shared the advice he gave to his son.

“My message with him was just life,” Anthony added. “If there’s anybody you could learn from, I did it at the highest level. I’ve dealt with every emotion possible from basketball.”

Kiyan Anthony didn’t declare for the draft, but he is preparing himself for his sophomore season so that he could raise his stock and impress NBA scouts along the way.
