Peterson is a five-star recruit from California who has committed to the Kansas. Jayhawks He is the No. 2 prospect in the country, according to 247Sports.
The site ranks Dybantsa as the country’s top recruit and a five-star player. He’s committed to the BYU Cougars.
On Saturday, Feb. 8, Prolific Prep defeated Utah Prep in Atlanta. Peterson, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, set a record by scoring 58 points, featuring a game-winning three-pointer with one second left.
His effective scoring came from just 26 shots, showcasing his offensive skill.
Dybantsa, a 6-foot-9 small forward, led Utah Prep with 49 points, nine rebounds, and three assists. Despite his amazing performance, it wasn’t enough to overcome Peterson’s heroics.
This was Peterson’s second high-profile encounter against Dybantsa. In their previous meeting in December, Prolific Prep won 76-70, with Peterson scoring 32 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and dishing out eight assists, and Dybantsa contributing 28 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
