Bill Self’s Kansas has lost 10 players from the current roster. Flory Bidunga committed to Louisville, Bryson Tiller joined Missouri, Jamari McDowell transferred to Wake Forest, and Samis Calderon committed to Butler. Paul Mbiya and Jayden Dawson have also entered the transfer portal.
As for Darryn Peterson, he is set to get picked in the first round of the NBA draft. The newest Kansas transfer who has found a new team is Elmarko Jackson. The 6’3 sophomore has committed to Georgetown, and Peterson has approved the decision.

Kansas is losing its way in the transfer portal. The Jayhawks had a disappointing end to the season as they lost to Rick Pitino’s St. John’s and got eliminated from the NCAA Tournament in the second round. Despite Darryn Peterson being one of the brightest talents this season, his limited game time eventually became a roadblock for Kansas’ success.
Meanwhile, fans online were excited for Elmarko Jackson’s future. He averaged 4.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. Now he is taking his services to Georgetown for his sophomore year.
