Dan Hurley and his wife, Andrea Hurley, are enjoying the offseason to the best of their abilities. On Andrea’s July 8 Instagram story, she can be seen riding as the passenger on her husband’s motorbike around an unnamed coastal town in the Jersey shore.
In the first Instagram story about the little stroll, Andrea Hurley wrote:
“Took the hog for a little spin around town,”

In her story, she highlighted a UConn flag they saw in one house of the neighborhood they were riding around, and she wrote:
“Championship flag sighting at the beach. Love our Jersey Shore friends,”
Andrea and Dan Hurley met during their time as students at Seton Hall University in the 1990s. They eventually got married on August, 1997, in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, and they have two sons together, Danny and Andrew Hurley. They have been married for a little under 28 years.
Dan Hurley adds Russian forward Egor Amosov to the UConn Huskies roster for the 2026-27 season
Egor Amosov is the 10th newcomer to Storrs this offseason, who seems to be the final addition to the UConn Huskies roster for the upcoming 2026-27 season. The 6-foot-7 Russian player comes over from the Spanish Liga U (The Spanish U-22 basketball championship), where he was the Player of the Year for Real Madrid.
After securing his commitment to the Storrs school, Dan Hurley shared the following statement regarding his thoughts on the addition:
“Egor is an exciting young prospect who brings versatility at the forward spot,” UConn head coach Dan Hurley said in a statement. “His skillset fits what we look for in wing players and raises the level of that position group. We think that can compete to make an impact right away.”
In the inaugural 2025-26 Spanish Liga U season, he averaged 14.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.5 steals per game in 30 league games. Amosov also shone during the most important games, scoring 17 points with three rebounds in the semifinal win over Panathinaikos and then had 16 points, nine rebounds, and two assists in the final over Barcelona in the U18 EuroLeague NextGen.
