The Big 12 Tournament finally kicks off on Monday with the No. 12 Arizona Sun Devils taking on the No. 13 Baylor Bears during the first round. Both teams have had late-season slides and would probably not make it to the NCAA Tournament, as each of these teams ended the regular season with 16-15 records. However, they still have a chance to qualify if they win the Big 12 Tournament, and winning this game is the first step to doing that.
Baylor defeated Arizona State the last time they met during the regular season, but can they repeat that victory, or can the Sun Devils move on to the second round?

Meanwhile, freshman sensation Tounde Yessoufou is showing he is worth the hype as he led Baylor to a 101-75 win over Utah with 26 points, five rebounds, four assists and six steals, putting on a clinic on both ends of the floor. The team also has excellent reserves as Michael Rataj and Dan Skillings Jr. provide some big sparks off the bench.
