Aaron Bradshaw and Devin Askew Transfer Portal: Top Fits for Former Kentucky Guards

Aaron Bradshaw and Devin Askew are definitely not first-timers when it comes to the transfer portal. Both are former players for the Kentucky Wildcats but have been bouncing around the NCAA over the last few years, and some teams could definitely use them.

Aaron Bradshaw, a seven-foot center, averaged 8.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game for Memphis last season, while Villanova guard Devin Askew has been to several teams since leaving Lexington and is one of the best power forwards still available.

It should be noted that Askew is currently out of eligibility already, but is trying to petition another year. Meanwhile, Bradshaw is now looking for his fourth team in four years, and this could be his last one as he is already in his final year of eligibility.

    Aaron Bradshaw Possible Landing Spots

    Arkansas Razorbacks

Bradshaw initially left Kentucky after John Calipari left. Going to Arkansas where Calipari is coaching would be a good choice since it would reunite him with the man who initially recruited him, as well as give the Razorbacks a true center, which is something they need right now.

    Purdue Boilermakers

Purdue is filled with centers and have one of the best programs in developing dominant big men. While he might face some tough competition for playing time here, this is where Bradshaw could make his mark. However, this is only if he is after more development, as his time in college is already running out.

    Devin Askew Possible Landing Spots

    Arkansas Razorbacks

Much like Aaron Bradshaw, Devin Askew joined Kentucky when John Calipari was still the head coach. He could very much reunite with Coach Cal and help bolster the Razorbacks’ frontline as they are in need of big men. The team has a lot of talented guards, so bigs is what Calipari needs, and this could be a good place to go as Calipari already knows them.

    Kentucky Wildcats

Devin Askew could also go to where his college journey began, and that is Lexington. The Wildcats are also in need of a power forward and Askew could bring in some veteran wisdom to that Wildcats frontline. While the team’s immediate need is point guard, they also lack some good power forwards, and Mark Pope needs some more wins in the transfer portal.
