LOOK: Texas HC Steve Sarkisian Receives Heartwarming Father’s Day Wish From Daughter Taylor With Nostalgic Snap

Father’s Day may now be over, but Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian had a very special one, courtesy of his daughter, Taylor. On Father’s Day, she posted a nostalgic photo of herself with her dad during a Texas game and wished him a happy Father’s Day.

Taylor is one of Steve Sarkisian’s three kids with ex-wife Stephanie; she has a sister, Ashley, and brother Brady. She often rocks a Texas-themed outfit when she cheers for her dad’s Longhorns, pairing the look with some cowboy boots. As for the Texas head coach, he has since remarried and has another son with his current wife, Loreal Sarkisian.

Meanwhile, Steve Sarkisian is currently busy making preparations for next season, as the Longhorns are aiming big and will go “title or bust.” This greeting from his daughter would certainly make his day as he continues to draw out rotations, check his depth, see how well his team gels, and how well they will work with his star quarterback, Arch Manning.

Steve Sarkisian Making Recruitment Waves At Texas

Meanwhile, Steve Sarkisian is not just preparing for his 2026 campaign but is also busy on the recruitment front, as he gets a win by recruiting five-star cornerback John Meredith III from North Crowley High School. He is ranked No. 2 overall by 247Sports Composite, and this marks the coach’s biggest recruitment win from the Class of 2027. Meredith will certainly bulk up Texas’ defense in the future, granted Sarkisian holds on to him.

Another big addition is four-star offensive tackle Brian Swanson, a massive recruit standing at 6′-6 and weighing in at 320 pounds. He has a track-and-field background and will give Texas some added protection.

Sarkisian is also locked in battles for some in-state talent, such as three-star wide receiver Kyron Brown, who is currently entertaining offers not just from Texas, but also Kansas State and Baylor. He is also trying to land four-star safety Junior Tu’upo, who has an offer from Alabama, and four-star cornerback Montre Jackson, who is also entertaining an offer from SMU.

For the Class of 2028, Steve Sarkisian has one very specific target in Neimann Lawrence, ranked the No. 5 quarterback in his class, which shows that he is already on the move to look for a new QB once Arch Manning graduates.
