Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders officially graduated from the University of Colorado and was recently seen donning an all-black gown and a mortarboard cap from his graduation ceremony.
In a series of moments shared by Shedeur’s mom, Pilar Sanders, the former Colorado Buffalo signal caller made an appearance on Pilar’s Instagram story, celebrating the moment with his college mates and fellow graduates who were also seen wearing graduation attire.
Meanwhile, Coach Prime’s ex-wife, Pilar Sanders, could not contain her happiness upon seeing her son graduate, as she was seen brimming with joy alongside daughter Shelomi, who is also touted to graduate soon.
“Shedeur graduates today and who graduates next Friday?, Pilar stated on her Instagram story.
“Me!”, Shelomi exclaimed.

Pilar, who’s often known for her stellar fashion sense, once again turned heads with her style as she donned an all-black leather jacket combined with a blue scarf and a glistening silver necklace. She was seen standing near what looked like a balcony overlooking the Colorado football stadium, where the ceremony supposedly took place.
“I love it here. My baby’s graduating today. My baby boy”, Pilar said.
During his time with the Buffaloes, Shedeur threw for 14,347 yards while garnering a total of 134 touchdowns, 27 interceptions, alongside a completion rate of 70.1%. His consistent performances under his pops and head coach Deion Sanders during his four-year college football stint got him drafted by the Cleveland Browns as the 144th pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
His rookie season with the Browns impressed many so much so that he climbed the QB depth chart and eventually started for the Cleveland-based franchise towards the latter part of their 2025 campaign.
What Did Shedeur Sanders Study At University Of Colorado?
On the academic front, Shedeur is as potent as he is on the field. With a degree in sociology, he also boasts an impressive GPA.
One of the biggest talking points ahead of the 2025 NFL draft was Shedeur’s academic prowess, as he reportedly scored a 3.9 GPA during his first semester.
Perhaps this all-roundness comes from the fact that Coach Prime has often put academics as a priority and is often seen holding his players accountable for their academic performances.
