    Kirby Smart 2027 Recruiting News: Three Commitments From Star Players Secured by Georgia Head Coach

    Kirby Smart built one of the most talented recruiting classes in college football in 2026, with the Georgia Bulldogs ranking first in the SEC and fifth in the nation in recruiting, according to On3. However, the job is never done in college football, with the coach now focusing on recruiting for the 2027 season.

    For next year, they’re doing well but not as well. In the 2027 recruitment rankings, they’re 12th in the nation and fifth in the SEC so far. So far, they have managed just three top commitments. Here they are.

    Three Commitments From Star Players Secured by Georgia’s Kirby Smart for 2027

    #3 Kelsey Adams – OT

    Kelsey Adams is an offensive tackle out of Georgia, who ranks 121st among all prospects, and is also the 12th best offensive tackle and 11th best overall player out of Georgia for the 2027 class. He plays high school ball at Langston Hughes, Atlanta, Georgia. He committed to the Bulldogs on September 27th, 2025. He’s currently considered a four-star recruit by On3.

    #2 Jaxon Dollar – TE

    Jaxon Dollar is a four-star recruit who is considered the 34th-best recruit in the class of 2027, according to On3. He’s the second-best tight end and the second-best overall prospect out of North Carolina, too. Dollar plays high school football at East Lincoln High School in Denver, North Carolina. He committed to North Carolina this past April 30th, picking Kirby Smart’s team over the likes of Notre Dame, Texas, Clemson, and North Carolina.

    #1 Kemon Spell – RB

    So far, the only five-star recruit from the class of 2027 that Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have managed to get their hands on. Spell is considered the fifth-best recruit in the nation and the top prospect in his position. The five-star recruit is also the second-best prospect out of Philadelphia. He plays high school football at McKeesport, and he committed to Georgia on February 2nd of this year.
