One of the many things that makes college sports so great is the fans, which is why Arizona State was able to have such a successful 2024 season.
Nobody understands that better than Sun Devils head coach Kenny Dillingham, who is a big believer in community support when it comes to football.

Kenny Dillingham’s Message
While speaking with the media his week, Dillingham had a message for the Arizona State fan base as the team looks toward 2025.
Kenny Dillingham with a message to ASU fans on the importance of showing out next year:
“The reason college teams are good is the community, the fanbase, and the support… Let’s try to make it where every game is sold out this year.”@SunDevilSource pic.twitter.com/ccCqS3fd79

In all honesty, these are wise words from the 34-year-old head coach. Have you ever seen a team win a title without having much support from their fans? When the community is behind the coaches and players, the sky can be the limit for any team.
Arizona State’s fan support was fantastic this year as they watched their team shock the college football world by winning the Big 12 and ultimately making it to the College Football Playoff. In fact, they were a fourth-down stop away from making it to the College Football Playoff Semifinals.
Without the support from the Sun Devil fans, it is hard to say if Dillingham and Co. would have made it as far as they did.
What Dillingham is Building
After going 3-9 in his first season as the head coach of Arizona State in 2023, Dillingham completely flipped the script as he guided his team to a record of 11-3 and that aforementioned College Football Playoff appearance.
This will now allow him to swing big on the recruiting trail seeing as a lot of high school players have a hunger for winning big games at the college level. It also doesn’t hurt to have the sunshine and beauty of Tempe, Arizona as the backdrop for your college experience.

After winning the Big 12 this year, it is the Sun Devils’ to lose in 2025. Time will tell if Dillingham and Co. can take their season one step further less than a year from now.
