Before the official launch of EA Sports’ College Football 27 in July, details about the game’s features were leaked on a retailer’s online platform.
Following an earlier Xbox Store leak, an Amazon listing for EA Sports College Football 27 reportedly surfaced online, revealing the game’s features. The leak appears to confirm multiple long-requested additions, including PC support, NIL integration, athletic director expectations in Dynasty Mode, dynamic weather, and deeper program-building mechanics.
However, Amazon has now taken that listing down.
If the leak is true, it will mark a massive expansion for the franchise after College Football 25 skipped PC entirely. Since that launch, fans have requested a return to computer platforms, and it seems the 2027 edition have considered the request.
According to details from the Amazon listing, “Athletic Director expectations” will reportedly become part of Dynasty Mode. This means players may no longer only answer to wins and losses but also other goals, including revenue, recruiting rankings, rivalry performance, graduation rates, conference success, or prestige-building.
The inclusion of NIL in some way underscores how it could influence recruiting battles, player retention, transfer portal decisions, or even booster-style systems.
Other EA College Football 27 Features One Should Take Note Of
EA is also reportedly adding “New broadcast packages,” which means the addition of commentary teams and different camera angles to replicate college football atmospheres.
With the inclusion of Develop Your Draft Stock, there will be a progression system in place that will potentially carry over to Madden NFL 27’s Superstar mode. This will replicate a real-life football ecosystem, allowing players to build a high school recruit into a college star before eventually transitioning to the NFL.
The listing also suggests the return of “Legacy Score.” This feature was in NCAA Football 14. However, it is not expected to be a noteworthy addition.
“Dynamic Storytelling” is one of the biggest mysteries in the leak. Fans have already started speculating on what this could mean. The leak also mentions that the new game will be more streamlined and will have customizable pre-play adjustments.
However, users are warned not to follow the leaks blindly as EA has yet to officially confirm if that was a genuine mistake.
